Inhabited Ipswich is a project driven by creatives with a desire to activate our beloved city, Tulmur (Ipswich).

With ample vacant shopfronts and empty spaces, Inhabited Ipswich, provides a platform where artists, businesses and community members all come together to celebrate the potential of our historical Top of Town, through contemporary public art. By activating and making these spaces come alive, we will be showcasing available buildings in the CBD and demonstrating their commercial viability, whilst providing opportunities for local artists to work within their communities building cultural capital. By improving the sense of safety in the area through the use of light and visual imagery, we will inspire people from a broad age range to explore our city centre and connect with our local artists.
